The DeSaulnier Digest: Democrats Gear Up for Busy Legislative Session on Behalf of the American People
Following a busy district work period, Congress is back in session for the month of September and House Democrats are looking forward to advancing legislation to support American workers and families and to continue to build stable economic growth. Throughout this action-packed, productive legislative session, Democrats expect to be working to pass bills to:
- Fund the government to ensure it stays open and working for the American people;
- Bolster government oversight and accountability; and
- Strengthen support for mental health.
Sincerely,
Mark DeSaulnier
Member of Congress
