Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) and Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) called on Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Executive Director Steve Heminger to expeditiously examine steps to move forward a second east-west "Southern Crossing" of the San Francisco Bay to help reduce one of the worst traffic problems facing the area, and provide significant benefits for toll payers.

The town hall will be rescheduled at a later date.
