After five fulfilling weeks of connecting with constituents during the August District Work Period, I returned to Capitol Hill today. Throughout my weeks in the East Bay, I met with small business owners, spoke with first responders, visited local nonprofits, delivered federal funding checks for important projects in our district, and connected with countless constituents across our community.
As we near the end of summer District Work Period, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with so many of you this month, both here in our Antioch and Walnut Creek offices and out in the community. Representing this beautiful place we call home is an honor.
