Walnut Creek, CA – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) announced that he will host town hall meetings in Antioch, Richmond, and Lafayette during the month of April. Mark has hosted 39 town halls and mobile district office hours throughout Contra Costa County since taking office in 2015.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) and U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) introduced legislation which would expand the national historic site that celebrates the life and legacy of John Muir in Martinez, CA. The John Muir National Historic Site Expansion Act (H.R. 1719/S. 729) would add an additional 44 acres to the John Muir National Historic site, which currently stretches across 330 acres in the East Bay of San Francisco and includes the home where Muir lived until he passed in 1914.
