Congressman DeSaulnier Introduces Bill to Help Provide Healthy Meals to Students
With schools closed during the pandemic, we saw even more starkly how important school meals are to a child's educational success and overrall health. To redouble our efforts to ensure every child has access to nutritious meals at school as schools reopen, Congressman DeSaulnier introduced the School Food Modernization Act (H.R. 4379). This bill would help local schools replace outdated kitchen equipment in an effort to provide healthy meals to every student.
