Mark continued his recognition of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a town hall in Brentwood at Liberty High School, where he highlighted our nation's founding, outlined the ongoing work to protect democracy, and took audience questions. Mark Visits Orinda Small Businesses on Business Listening Tour
As a former small business owner in Concord, Congressman DeSaulnier prioritizes meeting with local business owners in CA-10 to discuss how he can continue to support them at the federal level. This month, Mark continued the Business Listening Tour series in Orinda with stops at the Orinda Theatre, Casa Orinda, Orinda Books, Garden Nest, and Orinda Village Antiques, where he met with small business owners and Orinda City Councilmembers Latika Malkani and Cara Hoxie.

Congressman DeSaulnier Continues Labor Listening Tour in Antioch
Mark visited the Opportunity Junction Healthcare Career Pathways Training Center in Antioch, which he helped secure nearly half a million dollars in federal Community Project Funding to expand, as part of his ongoing Labor Listening Tour. While there, Congressman DeSaulnier met with students training to become Medical Assistants.

Congressman DeSaulnier held mobile district office hours where he welcomed constituents to his Antioch office to discuss a range of federal issues both federal and domestic.

Congressman DeSaulnier Celebrates Oak Grove Behavioral Health Campus Grand Opening
Mark joined county leaders at the grand opening for Contra Costa Health's Oak Grove Behavioral Health Campus in Concord last week, which will house a new crisis call center, drop-in clinic, and outpatient treatment center for our community. As a longtime advocate for behavioral health, Congressman DeSaulnier helped secure federal funding for this expansion and continues to share the national model that Contra Costa has pioneered with his colleagues in Washington, D.C.
