The DeSaulnier Digest: District Work Period Recap

February 24, 2025
DeSaulnier Digest

Thank you to all those who joined our town hall last week at St. Mary's College in Moraga and the hundreds more who joined us via livestream. I appreciated the chance to provide an update on House Democrats' efforts to push back against the harmful actions of the Trump Administration and to hear directly from you. If you missed this conversation, you can watch the recording on Facebook and YouTube, or by clicking the image below.

I want to reiterate my regret that the venue's capacity prevented us from being able to accommodate everyone who came out for the event. As demand for town halls continues to grow, our office will seek out even larger venues for these events, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we find the best way to bring these events to as many community members as possible. The best place to learn about upcoming town halls is this newsletter or on my social media pages.

As I head back to Washington, D.C. prepared to fight against House Republicans’ proposed budget scheme that would cut billions of dollars in Medicaid to fund even more tax cuts for the ultrawealthy, I am grateful to be able to bring your voice and perspective to Congress. I will never stop standing up for the people of California’s 10th District and working families across this country.
