Congressman DeSaulnier Presents $2 Million Check to County Connection
Mark joined regional leaders and County Connection staff to present a check for $2 million in funding he secured to create a solar battery storage system, making County Connection buses more energy efficient. The new solar battery storage will also ensure that in the event of a power outage, County Connection buses can continue to provide reliable service to Contra Costans.
Mark Connects with Constituents on BART Commute
Commutes across the Bay Area, and especially in Contra Costa County, are notoriously long. Congressman DeSaulnier recently hopped on a BART train during the evening commute to connect with constituents returning home from San Francisco and Oakland and hear from them how they think BART is doing.
