LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

DeSaulnier Introduces Measure to Guarantee a Right to a Quality Education
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier continued his efforts to bolster public education in the U.S. by introducing a Constitutional amendment that would guarantee the right to a quality public education to all students. This legislation (H.J.Res. 93) affirms that the federal government has a Constitutional obligation to ensure that every citizen receives a world-class education and supports the federal role in education policy and funding.
