The DeSaulnier Digest: ICYMI: Town Hall on Improving Commutes and District Updates
In the Bay Area, we know all too well how excessive commute times impact our quality of life and the environment. I recently held a town hall on this topic to discuss with experts in the field what can be done to reduce congestion and improve our everyday lives. If you were not able to join us, you can watch the town hall by clicking here or on the image below. I will be continuing my work in Congress to push for innovative solutions to lessen commute times, including by promoting telework and increased options for public transportation, and look forward to staying in touch with you on this important issue.
Sincerely,
Mark DeSaulnier
Member of Congress

IN OUR COMMUNITY
Congressman DeSaulnier Visits Sites Aided by Federal Funding he Secured
Congressman DeSaulnier recently helped secured over $8 million in funding for projects across Contra Costa County. Last week, he had the opportunity to meet with both Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Clinic and the Contra Costa County Department of Conservation and Development to discuss how this funding will help better deliver critical services to our community.
At Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Clinic, this federal grant will allow for more mental health resources to be deployed across the County to ensure everyone struggling with behavioral health issues has access to the care they deserve.
Contra Costa County Department of Conservation and Development will be able to use this funding to advance efforts in our community to transition to clean energy while supporting our workforce.
