The DeSaulnier Digest: Join Our Environmental Town Hall & Resource Fair

April 28, 2025
DeSaulnier Digest

As we wrap up another busy District Work Period, I am excited to announce another town hall later this week in Oakley.

As we continue to see the effects of climate change here in California, from more devastating wildfires to more extreme temperatures, the Trump Administration's policies are undermining the tools we have to address this crisis, including rolling back environmental protections and withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement.

I'm hosting an outdoor Environmental Town Hall and Resource Fair this Saturday, May 3rd in Oakley to discuss how we're fighting back against the Administration's dangerous actions and the work being done here in California to protect our environment. Starting at 1:30 p.m., local environmental agencies and organizations will share resources on their work and at 2:00 p.m. I'll join several leaders in providing updates on the work being done at the local and federal levels of government to address climate change.

This event is RSVP only and the venue has limited capacity. If you are interested in attending, click here or on the flyer below to register. Confirmed attendees will receive more information, including the exact location, prior to the event.

I look forward to seeing many of you this weekend!
