The DeSaulnier Digest: Mark Kicks off Education Listening Tour of CA-10
I am excited to share that this week we will be embarking on an Education Listening Tour across our district to hear directly from educators, students, administrators, and staff. We will discuss education challenges and opportunities in CA-10 to help inform my work as a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
The tour will kick off with the presentation of funding I helped secure in Congress for Contra Costa Community College District (4CD) to reduce college textbook costs and expand access to higher education. Last week, I was honored to be joined by 4CD Interim Chancellor Mojdeh Mehdizadeh as my guest to the State of the Union and, ahead of the address, we spoke about how this funding will make a difference in the lives of Contra Costa students. Sincerely,
Mark DeSaulnier
Member of Congress
