DeSaulnier Hosts Youth Mental Health Roundtable at Monte Vista High School
Mark continued his Education Listening Tour at Monte Vista High School where, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, he toured its counseling and wellness center and hosted a roundtable with students and teachers to discuss youth mental health.

As we close out Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Congressman DeSaulnier sat down with South Asian community leaders in San Ramon to hear directly about the issues that matter most to the AANHPI community.

Congressman DeSaulnier Applauds New Transportation Accessibility Effort in CA-10
The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) has been working to make our transit systems more accessible and equitable, a goal Mark shares. Congressman DeSaulnier joined CCTA in announcing the launch of a new mobile app, which will provide real-time transportation data, helping seniors and those with disabilities to make informed transit decisions. Congressman DeSaulnier supported CCTA's application for funding for this project, which was approved by the Department of Transportation.

DeSaulnier Hosts In-Person Office Hours​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​Congressman DeSaulnier hosted meetings in the Walnut Creek office to meet 1-on-1 with constituents to hear directly from them about the issues that matter most to our community. He looks forward to bringing their perspectives and ideas back to Washington.

DeSaulnier Pays Respects to Community Leader
Willie Mims was a community activist who dedicated his life to advancing racial justice and empowering East County students and families. Sadly, Willie passed away on May 22nd. Mark attended Willie Mims' services over the weekend to reflect on their friendship and to honor Willie's legacy. To hear more about Mr. Mims' indelible legacy, click here or on the image below.
