The DeSaulnier Digest: A Mid-Year Update
As we approach mid-year, I am looking back on a packed six months in the East Bay and at the US Capitol. Already this year, I have hosted 10 town halls, and across CA-10, my team and I have attended 157 community events. For a more in-depth look at where I have been since the start of this current term in Congress, you can explore an interactive map here.
Across all three of my offices in Washington, DC, Walnut Creek, and Antioch, we have already responded to 73,371 opinions from constituents. Our legislative team in Washington, D.C. has also been busy, supporting 203 efforts to rein in the Trump Administration, protect civil liberties, and more. Here in the East Bay, our team has resolved 789 constituent issues with federal agencies, including immigration, Social Security, and the VA. As a former restaurant owner, it is important to me that when you call our office during business hours, you can speak to a real person ready to help you.
I am proud of the work we have already done in 2026 and I look forward to connecting with even more of you in the near future! Stay tuned to this newsletter and our Facebook, X, Instagram, and Bluesky social media pages for more town hall announcements.

Sincerely,
Mark DeSaulnier
