LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
DeSaulnier Votes to Expedite Support to Ukraine
In Russia's war against Ukraine, our support is needed now more than ever. To help expedite the delivery of urgently needed security aid to the people of Ukraine, Congressman DeSaulnier voted in support of the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act. This bill will revive a successful World War II program to streamline the shipment of weapons systems, ammunition, and other equipment to Ukraine. Previously passed by the Senate, this legislation now heads to President Biden's desk.
