Congressman DeSaulnier Hosts Town Hall with California Attorney General Rob Bonta
Mark held a virtual town hall with California Attorney General Rob Bonta to discuss efforts in Congress and in the courts to challenge the Trump Administration's unconstitutional actions. AG Bonta has already led the California Department of Justice in suing the Administration more than 30 times since January. The pair talked about how California is protecting immigrant communities, the Administration's attacks on the UC system, and California's successes in court thus far. Team DeSaulnier Joins National Night Out Gatherings Across CA-10
Congressman DeSaulnier and our team joined cities across CA-10 in celebrating National Night Out, an opportunity for neighbors, law enforcement, and first responders to connect, build community trust, and make neighborhoods safer and more caring.

Congressman DeSaulnier Presents on "Not Here" Initiative at Contra Costa Mayors Conference
Mark joined leaders from Contra Costa cities last week at the Mayors Conference meeting in Antioch to discuss his "Not Here" gun violence prevention initiative which highlights local gun safety efforts like those in Contra Costa as a national model for reducing firearm deaths and making communities safer. Federal efforts at gun safety reforms have largely stalled due to Republican opposition, but California and Contra Costa have been trailblazing examples of strong legislation leading to fewer deaths. Congressman DeSaulnier also spoke about the more than $46 million in Community Project Funding that he has procured for projects in communities across CA-10.

Mark Visits Reutlinger Community Senior Living in Danville
Congressman DeSaulnier toured the Reutlinger Community in Danville, a senior living and health care facility dedicated to upholding Jewish traditions and values. While there, Mark spoke with residents and staff about the challenges they are facing as Republicans attack programs that older Americans rely on, as well as the reductions to Medicare reimbursement triggered by Republicans' Big Ugly Bill.

Mark Joins Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Legislative Delegation Reception
Congressman DeSaulnier gathered with Contra Costa County and state leaders at a legislative delegation reception in Martinez to discuss the latest from Capitol Hill and its impact here in CA-10. In addition to the looming effects of the Big Ugly Bill, especially on health care in Contra Costa, Mark spotlighted his "Not Here" initiative which encourages local government participation in gun violence prevention efforts.

Congressman DeSaulnier Meets with CA-10 Federal Employees
CA-10 is home to more than 6,000 federal employees who work for a wide range of federal agencies and departments. Mark sat down with a group of these federal employees to hear about their experiences the last few months amid the Trump Administration and DOGE's gutting of the federal workforce and demonization of its employees. The group discussed the ongoing challenges and proposals for solutions through Congress.
