Congressman DeSaulnier Announces U.S.-Mexico Border Visit and Immigration Town Hall
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) announced that he will visit the U.S.-Mexico border in McAllen, TX on Friday, July 20th with the Women's Working Group on Immigration Reform. During the trip, Members are expected to tour the U.S. Federal Courthouse, Border Patrol Processing Center, Southwest Key shelter facility, and ICE Detention Center.
Congressman DeSaulnier will be available for comment following the visit.
He will also hold a town hall meeting atMeadow Homes Elementary School on Saturday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m. to brief constituents on the border visit, discuss the Trump Administration's immigration policies and the impact on our district, and answers questions.
This will be Congressman DeSaulnier's 69th town hall and mobile district office hour since coming to Congress in January 2015.
