Congressman DeSaulnier Announces Virtual Town Hall on Protecting Democracy
Walnut Creek, CA – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced today that he will host a virtual town hall on protecting democracy amidst attacks on constitutional rights and democratic norms from the Trump Administration on Tuesday, June 24th at 4:00 p.m. PT.
To discuss the Trump Administration and congressional Republicans’ attempts to undermine the separation of powers and curb the rights of Americans, and to highlight the legal victories that have put a stop to some of the Administration’s actions, Congressman DeSaulnier will be joined by special guests from Democracy Forward, a legal nonprofit working to defend democracy in the courts. The Congressman and panelists will also take questions live.
