Congressman DeSaulnier to Host Telephone Town Hall on Racial Justice and Strengthening Our Communities

Walnut Creek, CA – Today, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) announced that he will host a telephone town hall to discuss racial justice and strengthening our communities on Tuesday, July 7th at 11:30 a.m.

Congressman DeSaulnier will be joined on the call by a panel of experts including Professor john powell, Director of the Othering and Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley, Dr. Cristina Mora, co-director of the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley, and Dr. Mahasin Mujahid, associate professor of epidemiology and director of the Epidemiology/Biostatistics MPH Program at UC Berkeley. The town hall will continue a discussion on topics of race and social justice that Congressman DeSaulnier has held throughout his time in Congress as part of his Conversation on Race series.
