Congressman DeSaulnier to Host Town Hall on Mental Health Impacts of the Pandemic on the African American Community
Walnut Creek, CA – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) will host a virtual town hall tomorrow, February 23rd at 12:00 p.m. PT to discuss the mental health impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the African American community. The event will be held on Zoom and will be streamed live on Representative DeSaulnier's Facebook page (facebook.com/repmarkdesaulnier).
Congressman DeSaulnier will be joined by experts in the field of mental health, Gigi Crowder with the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) California and Dr. Nicola Parr of the Solano County Office of Education, who will be available to answer questions. Event participants will have the opportunity to submit questions before the event and live during the town hall.
