Congressman DeSaulnier to Host Virtual Town Hall on the Fight to Protect Reproductive Freedom
Walnut Creek, CA – Today, Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) announced he will host a virtual Town Hall on the Fight to Protect Reproductive Freedom on Wednesday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m. PT. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Congressman DeSaulnier will be joined by Jodi Hicks, CEO and President of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, Gilda Gonzales, CEO of Planned Parenthood Northern California Action Fund, and Professor Khiara M. Bridges of UC Berkeley School of Law who will offer their expertise and take your questions on what this decision means for women across the country. Congressman DeSaulnier will also provide an update on Democrats’ action in Congress to protect the right to choose against Republican attacks.
