Congressman DeSaulnier to Present Funding for Projects to Benefit Contra Costa County
For Tuesday, April 11th and Wednesday, April 12th
Walnut Creek, CA – Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced he will present the City of Concord with federal funding he secured on Tuesday, April 11th for a project to improve traffic and pedestrian safety and accessibility, and will present Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Contra Costa County with federal funds on Wednesday, April 12thto expand programming for former foster youth and connect them with mental health support. These projects were among Congressman DeSaulnier’s Community Project Funding submissions through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (H.R. 2617), which included a total of $21.7 million for 15 projects across Contra Costa County.
