Representatives DeSaulnier and Lee to Host Virtual Town Hall on the Build Back Better Agenda
Walnut Creek, CA – Today, Representatives Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) and Barbara Lee (CA-13) announced that they will host a joint virtual town hall on Tuesday, October 12th at 5:00 p.m. PT to discuss the priorities House Democrats are fighting for in the Build Back Better Act as part of the budget reconciliation process in order to support working families in the Bay Area and across the country. The event will be held on Zoom and will be streamed live on Representative DeSaulnier’s Facebook page (facebook.com/repmarkdesaulnier).
Representatives DeSaulnier and Lee will provide updates on the latest efforts in Congress to advance the Build Back Better Act and make historic investments in child care, education, health care, housing, initiatives to fight climate change, and more. Event participants will have an opportunity to submit questions before the event and live during the town hall.
