Representatives DeSaulnier and Thompson to Host Virtual Town Hall
Walnut Creek, CA – Today, Representatives Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) and Mike Thompson (CA-05) announced that they will host a virtual town hall tomorrow,Wednesday, June 2nd at 5:00 p.m. PT on the important work being done in the Administration and in Congress since Democrats took control of the House, Senate, and White House. The event will be held on Zoom and will be streamed live on Congressman DeSaulnier's Facebook page (facebook.com/repmarkdesaulnier).
Representatives DeSaulnier and Thompson will provide updates on actions the Administration and Congress have taken in the first 100+ days of the Biden presidency to act on issues like recovering from the pandemic, gun violence prevention, racial justice, election reform, and the assault on the Capitol. Event participants will have an opportunity to submit questions before the event and live during the town hall.
