Office of Congressman DeSaulnier Town Hall Policies & Code of Conduct

In an effort to ensure the safety of all attendees and respect everyone’s time and perspectives, our office will be enforcing the following policies at our town halls and other events hosted by our office.   • Only individuals who have RSVP’d through the RSVP form provided by the office will be admitted into the event. Please note, “plus ones,” family members, and friends must each complete separate registration forms.
  • Petitions, banners, flags, and signs of all varieties will not be permitted inside the venue.
  • No bags of any size will be permitted inside the venue.
  • Our office reserves the right to ask disruptive individuals to leave the event and, in the case that individuals are not cooperative, to work with local law enforcement, Capitol Police, and/or venue security to have them removed.
    • Disruptive behavior includes, but is not limited to, interrupting the presentation, speaking over/arguing with other attendees, and shouting/chanting.
