Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed last year, communities across the country are able to strengthen and improve their roads and bridges. Here in the Bay Area, a $400 million investment from this bill is allowing us to ensure the Golden Gate Bridge is fortified to withstand the impacts of a major earthquake.

Early Saturday morning, I was proud to (finally) be sworn in as the Representative for California's 10th Congressional District following the election of House Speaker, which was significantly delayed by Republican disunity. I look forward to continuing to serve you in Congress.

Happy holidays! As the year comes to a close, I wanted to share that today we passed a federal budget that included over $21 million in federal funding for 15 projects across Contra Costa County that will have a direct, meaningful impact on our everyday lives by reducing commute times, bolstering public safety, increasing access to education, improving quality of life, and more.

As the 117th Congress comes to an end and we look ahead to the new year, I have been reflecting on all Democrats in Congress and the Biden Administration have accomplished to support American families.
