IMPEACHMENT UPDATE
Last week, we held our 100th town hall or mobile district office hour since coming to Congress. The engagement at each of these events has been representative of the enthusiasm and engagement of our district. I am so proud to represent you in Congress!

We are thinking about all who have been impacted by the wildfires and power outages confronting Contra Costa and Northern California. We thank the first responders throughout our region who are working to protect our communities and encourage all Contra Costa residents to stay alert and informed.
Last Thursday, October 17th, our nation and Congress suffered a great loss with the passing of House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings. Read on to find a recap of those events and other updates from the first half of our District Work Period.

Franklin's response was: "A republic, if you can keep it." The President's recent attempts to blackmail a foreign government into interfering in the 2020 Presidential election undermine the security and independence of our republic.
