This achievement was made possible by House Democrats’ and the Biden-Harris Administration’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which gave Medicare the power to negotiate lower prices for older Americans.

Last week, eighty years to the day after the devastating explosion at the Port Chicago Naval Magazine in Concord, California on July 17, 1944, the U.S. Navy posthumously exonerated the Port Chicago 50 – African American sailors who were wrongfully and discriminately charged with mutiny after the incident.
