This weekend, I joined our community in commemorating the 20^th anniversary of 9/11. At each of these events, we came together and remembered in a special way all those lost on that tragic day, their loved ones, and the first responders whose heroism saved lives. We will never forget.

As we celebrated Labor Day, I reflected on how essential the Labor Movement has been to our democracy by giving a voice to American workers & building the middle class. As a former labor union member and as a former small business owner, I have seen on both sides how important it is for workers to have a voice in their workplace.

With the Biden Administration having concluded the evacuation from Afghanistan, our office remains deeply concered about the safety and security of Americans on the ground and our Afghan partners and stands ready to help however we can.
