As we enter this election year, many of you may have questions about ballots, voting locations, and more. To answer those questions, I'm hosting a town hall on Voting in Contra Costa thisFriday, February 18th at 12:00 p.m. We will be joined by officials from the Contra Costa County Elections Division who will offer their expertise and take your questions.
Throughout February, we celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the contributions of the African American community to our society, culture, and collective history. I am proud every month to represent and be a part of as diverse a community as Contra Costa. I hope you will take a look at our social media pages throughout the month as we spotlight African American leaders in Contra Costa who have contributed to the richness of our community.
As voting rights come under attack across the country, Congresswoman Barbara Lee and I held a town hall to discuss Democrats' efforts to protect the right of every American to make their voice heard at the ballot box.
