As Thanksgiving approaches, I am reflecting on the past year and my continued gratitude for calling CA-10 home and for the honor of representing you in the United States House of Representatives. Thank you for the trust you have placed in me.

Last week, I voted against a Republican spending bill that will raise health care premiums for 20 million Americans and pave the way for millions more to lose their coverage. Since the beginning of the year, I have promised to stand up to Republicans' attacks on Americans' health care, and this vote was in alignment with that promise.

I have been clear that I will not support a Republican spending bill that raises health care premiums for over 20 million Americans, paves the way for millions to be thrown off Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, and gives a blank check to Donald Trump to continue his authoritarian rule. 

Tomorrow is Election Day and I encourage you to make your voice heard through our democratic process.
