Perry Fellow at Stanford University, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, and former Foreign Service officer with more than 25 years in the State Department including assignments with responsibilities for Russia and Ukraine.

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend President Biden's State of the Union address and hear him lay out Democrats' plans to continue supporting American families by lowering the costs of their everyday expenses and to support democracy at home and abroad by standing with the people of Ukraine against Vladimir Putin's unlawful, brazen, and horrific attacks on their sovereignty.

As we enter this election year, many of you may have questions about ballots, voting locations, and more.
