I am proud to announce that I was able to secure over $15.2 million for community projects across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties in the 2024 appropriations bill that President Biden signed into law on Saturday. This funding will go to 15 projects in our community to address homelessness and the high cost of living, improve transportation systems and infrastructure, bolster public safety, protect the environment, and expand access to quality education.

DISTRICT WORK PERIOD

February 26, 2024
DeSaulnier Digest

Last week’s District Work Period afforded us the opportunity to be out in the community. We were busy as we continued our Education Listening Tour, began our Health Care Listening Tour, met with and shadowed UPS drivers in San Ramon, and hosted office hours in our Walnut Creek office to meet one-on-one with constituents. I’m looking forward to heading back to Washington later this week to continue efforts with my colleagues to keep our government open and working for the American people and I sincerely hope the Republican majority will join us.

DeSaulnier Digest

Last week's District Work Period afforded me the opportunity to engage with the community through visits to schools across the district, one-on-one meetings with constituents, and public safety events.

As I head back to Washington this week, I am as grateful as ever for the privilege of representing you in Congress and looking forward to continuing my efforts with House Democrats to lower costs for American families, grow the middle class, and build an economy that works for everyone.

Sincerely,
