Happy New Year! Throughout the past year, House Democrats have been hard at work for the American people and I look forward to furthering our efforts in 2024 and continuing to represent the people of California's 10th Congressional District. Best wishes for a joyful and peaceful year.
Sincerely,
Mark DeSaulnier
Member of Congress

Over the weekend, I hosted my 200th town hall since coming to Congress at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill where I had the opportunity to provide a congressional update and hear from constituents on issues that matter most to our community. It was wonderful to share this momentous occasion with you and I am grateful to represent you in Congress.
I am hosting my 200th town hall this Saturday, December 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. Join us to hear updates on House Democrats' accomplishments over the last year and for a preview of our priorities going into 2024. I will also take your questions live.
I am excited to share that I will be hosting my 200th town hall on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Bistro at Diablo Valley College’s Pleasant Hill Campus.
I voted last week for legislation to keep government open and working for the American people through the new year. While the bill brought forward by House Republicans was not perfect, it allowed us to avoid a government shutdown without exacting harmful spending cuts.
We had the privilege of joining the cities of Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Moraga, Lafayette, Martinez, Concord, Danville, and Walnut Creek as well as the Rossmoor community to celebrate Veterans Day over the weekend. This was a wonderful opportunity to thank the veterans of our community for their service and sacrifices for our country and our freedoms.
