Like many in our community, I was shocked and horrified to learn of the allegations of abuse against former Bay Area Congressman Eric Swalwell. Serving our communities in Congress is a privilege and sacred duty to the public, and the alleged actions of Mr. Swalwell and others makes them unfit to serve in this sacred office.
Like many of you, I was horrified by President Trump's threats of war crimes last week, and I swiftly called for his removal and reiterated my support for impeachment efforts. While I was relieved that Trump did not carry out these threats, I continue to believe he is unfit to hold our country's highest office.
My number one priority in Congress is and has always been to make life better for the people I represent. It's why I am so excited to share that I submitted 20 projects totaling over $46.7 million to benefit CA-10 for consideration as part of the annual appropriations process. These projects will invest in safety and easing congestion for drivers, bikers, and pedestrians, bolster emergency preparedness across the region, address housing needs, and strengthen crime prevention.
